Merit-Based Scholarship Guidelines
Merit-Based Scholarship Guidelines
Trojan Guild of Los Angeles considers qualified USC candidates who meet these criteria:
Demonstrated academic performance for merit scholarship
Enrolled as a Senior in an undergraduate program
Achieved a consistent grade point average as established by USCAA
Completed a minimum of one semester at USC if a transfer student
Holds United States citizenship
Graduate of a high school in Los Angeles County
Scholarship funds are to be used exclusively for tuition. The Scholarship is for two semesters only.
Recipients of Trojan Guild of Los Angeles Scholarships are required to:
Maintain a 3.0 grade point average or greater each semester to keep the scholarship
Retain status as a full-time student carrying 12 units or more each semester

TGLA Cherish Tribute - A Cherish Tribute is a wonderful way to honor family or friends. Make a gift to our Scholarship Program at any time in celebration of a special occasion or to honor the memory of a loved one. Tribute cards are available at every meeting or you may mail your gift payable to “USC TGLA,” PO Box 3242, Thousand Oaks, CA 91359 or scan the QR code.
Members are welcome to contribute at any time through USC TGLA or directly through the USC Trojan Guild of Los Angeles Scholarship Fund. You may also sponsor a full or partial $3000 scholarship by notifying our Vice President Scholarship.
Our scholarship program is funded through the spendable income from our Scholarship Endowment held by the university. We are proud that we established this endowment in celebration of our 60th anniversary and contributed $20,000 in honor of our 65th this past year. As of 2026, the fund is valued at over $230,000.
